Job Description

As a key member of the Oculus Publishing org in Reality Labs, you will evaluate and oversee a large catalog of game projects from the most creative and innovative developers and publishers in VR / MR. Reporting to the Director of Oculus Publishing, you will support a large scale publishing program with 100+ games in development, providing visibility to Meta on impactful content in development, and improving developer outcomes by supporting the team overseeing in-development games. Specifically, you will support the Production and Developer Relations teams through complex development issues on third party games including changes in scope, project extensions, cancellations, or significant design changes. Internally, you will work closely with Reality Labs leadership representing the state of the third party games catalog as a contributor to hardware and software programs on behalf of Oculus Publishing.

Head of Portfolio, Oculus Publishing Responsibilities:

  • Improve developer outcomes by supporting the team overseeing in development games
  • Work closely with reality labs leadership representing the state of the third party games catalog as a contributor to programs

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8+ years experience in game development / games industry
  • 4+ years in VR / MR development / industry
  • Track record of working with external developers on game projects
  • Proven record of game project evaluation and delivery of impactful feedback on in development projects
  • Familiarity with the VR content ecosystem
  • BA or BS degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Production experience shipping games to Meta Quest headsets
  • Experience reporting on content to company leadership
