Reality Labs (RL) Biosensors Team at Meta is helping build novel products in Augmented and Virtual Reality. Our team explores, develops, and delivers new cutting-edge sensing technologies that enable health and wellness monitoring in products at Meta. We work to implement new technologies in products.
Biosensors Manager, Reality Labs Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with other managers, researchers and engineers across hardware and product teams at Meta on definition, development, integration, and validation of health sensors across a range of wearable devices.
- Oversee and manage RL’s Biosensor new product initiatives including first of their kind features.
- Lead integration, characterization, and validation of RL’s health, fitness, and wellness sensors.
- Develop and manage engineering pipeline for characterization and validation of health devices.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
- 2+ years’ technical leadership experience directly contributing to health sensor development.
- 5+ years’ experience developing health sensors for consumer or medical markets.
- Hands-on experience in implementing biosensing systems such as PPG, ECG, IMU, or similar.
- Experience with engineering processes for consumer or health industry electronics, including characterization, vendor selection, and similar.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Hands on experience with analog front end (AFE) and circuit design for PPG, ECG, or similar
- Familiarity for health related algorithm development including signal processing and machine learning.
- Familiarity with current trends in health sensor systems and hardware.
