ABOUT THIS FEATURED OPPORTUNITY

Our client offers a unique opportunity to join our team and contribute to cutting-edge research in the field of virtual, augmented, and mixed reality experiences. As a Software Engineer and System Design Generalist, you will play a crucial role in enabling multimodal research platforms for our always-on AR device vision. Our goal is to provide contextually relevant assistance in complex, dynamic real-world tasks, and we are seeking candidates with expertise in android development, large language modeling, audio signal processing, on-device development, cloud computing, and AR.

THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU

In this role, you will work collaboratively with research scientists and software engineers to accelerate the development of research infrastructure. You will be involved in deploying models in AR prototypes and contributing to an interdisciplinary field that shapes the future of AR. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include Android, Python, JavaScript, and C++ development to support the data requirements of AR assistance ML models.

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS

Minimum qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience with Android
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Python, JavaScript
• Minimum 2 years of experience with C++
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Linux

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with Embedded System or On-device development
• Experience with Cloud Computing
• Experience with large scale ML infrastructure (e.g. Large Language Model)

Educational background:

• Required: BS in computer science, acoustic engineering, computer engineering, or a related field.
• Preferred: MS in computer science or a related field.
