We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-motivated Permanent Global Sales Director to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our international sales team and implementing strategies that will increase our global market share. This role is perfect for someone who is bilingual in Mandarin and English/Spanish, has a strong understanding of digital solutions and artificial intelligence, and has a proven track record as a Sales Director with international experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic global sales plan that expands the company's customer base and ensures its strong presence in the international market.
- Manage and lead the global sales team towards achieving sales objectives and targets.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
- Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
- Implement a sales training program to train new employees and brush up the skills of existing employees.
- Utilize understanding of digital solutions and artificial intelligence to drive sales and meet customer needs.
- Report sales results, forecasts, and market trends to senior management.
- Coordinate with marketing department to identify and target new customers within the market.
- Act as the point of contact for important clients and provide a high level of service to maintain a strong business relationship.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a Sales Director role with a focus on international sales.
- Bilingual in Mandarin and English/Spanish.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Strong business sense and industry expertise in digital solutions and artificial intelligence.
- Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and requirements.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and stakeholders and attend sales-related events.
- Proven experience in strategic planning and business development.
