Hino Motors Manufacturing is an OEM that assembles trucks in West Virginia, automotive components in Arkansas, and operates a parts distribution center in California.

We are currently seeking a Manager- Production for our manufacturing facility located in Marion, AR. This position is responsible for the efficient and timely production of products made in the Axle Plant at HMM-AR.

Key Responsibilities

• To plan, organize, and control production at HMM-AR to ensure that quality products are produced efficiently, on time, within budget, and to standard.
• Manage human and material resources to meet production targets.
• Make decisions about equipment use, maintenance, modification, and procurement.
• Work out and implement standardized work instructions for production operations.
• Ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety procedures.
• Analyze production and quality control to detect and correct problems.
• Prepare and maintain production reports.
• Determine and implement improvement to the production Process.
• Monitor and review the performance of team members and organize necessary interventions for improvement.
• Estimate production costs
• Set production budgets
• Improving the productivity level of the workers on continuous basis by training
  
  

Education And Experience

• 5 years of Management experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree or Higher in Business Management, Business Information Systems, or Operations Management.
  
  

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of TPS and 5S
• Ability to effectively lead a large team from various educational and cultural backgrounds.
• Ability to identify and effectively resolve problems
• Examine products or work to verify conformance to specifications
• Fabricate, assemble, or disassemble manufactured products by hand
• Use hand or power tools
• Use computers to enter, access or retrieve data
