THE OPPORTUNITY
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience shipping products built with next.js or React, Express.js and Typescript
- Experience building web experiences with real-time communication over WebSocket
- Experience building interactive web experiences with 2D/3D Javascript frameworks (e.g., Three.js)
- Hands-on experience with Postgres or other relational databases
- Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud deployment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Android or Unity development
- Experience with Mobile Device Management solutions, particularly Microsoft Intune
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations, particularly FERPA
- Eagerness to keep up with the latest technological trends and innovations
- Experience in a startup environment
What You’ll Be Working On
ReframeXR is a tech-f ocused startup in the EdTech/XR space that is building an end-to-end platform for bringing people together to learn and play in mixed reality. Our platform provides tools for developers to create and distribute XR content to any classroom where teachers use our web portal to manage shared, live experiences overlaid across physical environments. ReframeXR grounds everyone in the physical world while leveraging the power and joy of the virtual world.
We are seeking an experienced full stack engineer who has successfully developed and deployed web applications to help us shape and deliver a ground-breaking product. If you are passionate about building EdTech/XR products with a deep understanding of Next.js, React, Express.js and AWS, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop a scalable and secure full stack web application with highly interactive components
- Design and develop efficient and secure APIs to support the web application and applications/services running on Android-based VR devices
- Design and develop the AWS infrastructure strategy, setup and management
- Design and develop the frontend/backend reliability, logging and monitoring pipeline
- Implement and manage the frontend/backend CI/CD pipeline
- Work with company leaders to define requirements and clearly communicate technical decisions and direction to the team
