About The Role

Mass Virtual is looking for a Senior Contracts Specialist/Administrator who is detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills. The Senior Contracts Specialist/Administrator will work closely with our internal Operations, Project Management, and Development Teams to negotiate contractual provisions and administration of contract proposals, bids, RFQs, and ROMs.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Negotiate, extend, terminate, and renegotiate contracts, RFQs, ROMs, Task Orders as appropriate for suppliers as well as customers
  • Preparation of contractual provisions and the administration of contract proposals
  • Prepare Bids, RFQs, ROMs, and Task Orders and negotiates specifications with suppliers, partners, or customers
  • Examine and review materials for bids or contracts and negotiates pricing and terms
  • Interact with internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordinating activity across organizational lines
  • Responsible for pre-award and post-award involving complex and specialized procurements and government contracts
  • Assist with RFI’s and Proposals
  • Monitor existing contracts to ensure compliance with contractual obligations to terms and conditions, and take remedial action as required
  • Work with both internal and external stakeholders when modifications are required.
  • Maintain contract, subcontract, NDA, and Teaming Agreement tracking and reporting databases
What You Need To Succeed
  • 5+ years of Federal government contracting experience
  • Knowledge of costing and pricing methodology
  • Skill in the negotiation and establishment of contractual arrangements for goods and services
  • Knowledge of contractor compliance issues and procedures
  • Ability to obtain and maintain US government secret and/or Top-Secret clearance; Due to the nature of the work and US government requirements, US Citizenship is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or combination of work experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, customer focus, negotiation skills, and an ability to work effectively on teams and independently
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities
  • Resourceful with strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Great To Have
  • Experience with purchase order placement, preferably on a DoD program
  • Experience with FAR/DFAR requirements
