Description:
At Client , our goal is to explore, innovate and design Client interfaces and hardware for the next generation of virtual, augmented, and mixed reality experiences.
We are driving research towards a vision of an always-on AR device that can provide contextually relevant assistance across a range of complex, dynamic, real-world tasks in natural environments.
To support the data requirements of such AR assistance Client models, we are looking for a software engineer and system design generalist with skills in any of the following areas: android development, large language modeling, audio signal processing, on-device development, cloud computing and AR.
who can accelerate the team’s research infrastructure development.
The role will include working with research scientists and software engineers to enable multimodal research platform.
Expertise with Android, Python, Javascript and C++ are preferred for this role.
This role is a unique opportunity for collaboration with researchers and engineers to deploy models in AR prototypes and for working in an interdisciplinary field while helping to shape the future of AR.
Minimum qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience with Android
Minimum 2 years of experience with Python, Javascript
Minimum 2 year of experience with C++
Minimum 2 year of experience with Linux
Preferred qualifications
Experience with Embedded System or On-device development
Experience with Cloud Computing
Experience with large scale Client infrastructure (e.g. Large Language Model)
Educational background
Required:
BS in computer science, acoustic engineering, computer engineering, or a related field.
Preferred:
MS in comp
How will performance be measured:
Ability to work with research scientists and software engineers cross functionally Quality of deployed AR prototypes models
Ability to meet project deadlines as agreed to with the team
