The AR (Accounts Receivables) Collections Specialist is responsible for leading the team that will collect outstanding accounts receivable dollars from the existing client base and all other aspects of collections, providing customer service through resolution of customer billing issues, and reducing accounts receivable delinquency.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service regarding collection issues, review and process account adjustments, and resolve client discrepancies.
  • Monitoring, assigning, and maintaining assigned accounts with Collections team members - This includes directly contacting customers, account adjustments, customer reconciliations, and processing credit memos.
  • Reducing delinquency for assigned accounts and monitoring all Collections.
  • Creating and issuing invoices, processing and applying payments, creating and understanding reports, and performing reconciliations on customer accounts.
  • Clearly communicating & following up effectively with internal licensing and sales teams regarding customer accounts on a timely basis.
  • Enlist assistance and efforts of sales reps as well as senior management when necessary to help facilitate quicker collection process.
  • Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Accounts Receivable Department as a whole.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required with Accounting and/or related Business focus preferred
  • High volume collections experience required, Accounts Receivables experience a plus
  • 2+ years of customer service experience required
  • Salesforce and NetSuite experience preferred
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, particularly Excel and Word, required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent reading comprehension skills
  • Proactive, detail-oriented team player with strong work ethic, organization, and time-management skills


Our offices are located in Westwood Village, Los Angeles, CA. Employees work in the office Monday through Thursday and from home on Fridays. We offer a very competitive benefits package, annual bonus, and a creative and dynamic working environment.


The hourly compensation range for this role is between $30.00 - $40.00 per hour depending upon experience.
