Position’s Contributions to Work Group:

Require a developer with augmented reality or computer vision to build a proof-of-concept algorithm to measure parts on Cat machines. Proof of concept part of feasibility study to test a new way for Cat dealers to inspect machines.

Typical task breakdown:

- Cat team will supply photos and/or videos of machines. This new role will focus on building the algorithm to interpret these images and/or videos.

- Will follow an agile framework: SCRUM; will play developer role; will need to attend meetings and communicate with project manager.

Interaction with team:

- Project will be managed with typical Scrum framework including 2-week sprints, daily standups, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective meetings.

Education & Experience Required:

- 10+ years experience

- Must have Bachelor’s degree in related field; will accept Master’s or PHD

Technical Skills (Required)

- OpenCV (computer vision)

- Augmented Reality

Soft Skills (Required)

- Communication skills (communicate with team effectively)

- Must be able to follow agile framework (refer to typical task breakdown)
