Job Description
Augmented Reality Developer
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Remote
Hours: Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm CST
Major Purpose:
- Require a developer with augmented reality or computer vision to build a proof-of-concept algorithm to measure parts on client machines.
Reason/motivation for request:
- New role.
- Earthmoving Lean Innovation team is in place to test new business ideas using the lean innovation methodology.
- Proof of concept part of feasibility study to test a new way for client dealers to inspect machines.
Typical Day in the Role
- Client team will supply photos and/or videos of machines. This new role will focus on building the algorithm to interpret these images and/or videos.
- Will follow an agile framework: SCRUM; will play developer role; will need to attend meetings and communicate with project manager
Interaction with team:
- Project will be managed with typical Scrum framework including 2-week sprints, daily standups, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective meetings.
Work environment:
- Fully remote role; mostly individual work
- Agile process will have meetings
Education & Experience Required:
- 10+ years experience
- Must have Bachelor's degree in related field; will accept Master's or PHD
Technical Skills

- Must be able to follow agile framework (refer to typical task breakdown)
