We believe in attracting and nurturing world class talent with a focus on diversity, community and career development.We’re seeking a Designer with a strong conceptual craft and a deep curiosity around technology and AR. This person will help build, and maintain comprehensive sub-brand identities and design systems across Meta’s AR product portfolio. In this role, you will work closely with cross function and multidisciplinary teams, playing an integral role in owning brand guidelines to help conceptualize and craft a variety of creative solutions across a variety of channels across the entire consumer journey (digital, print, social, retail, packaging, etc.).You will be responsible for developing and defining AR brand design systems and creating integrated strategies to reflect where we are now and where we want to be in the future.


Designer Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product Design, Retail, Producers, agencies, and external partnerships to lead the conceptualization, development, and maintenance of Meta's AR sub-brand identities, design guidelines, campaigns, evergreen communications, and product launch announcements.
  • Craft captivating and versatile creative solutions for Meta's Augmented Reality sub-brands and partnerships, spanning multiple mediums and platforms, including websites, social channels, and retail experiences.
  • Work with Program Managers to establish effective design processes, ensuring timely delivery of design deliverables.


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Experience working with cross-functional teams focused on customer journeys and experiences.
  • 5+ years of experience in brand design (agency and/or in-house).
  • Multidisciplinary background in brand identities/systems, coupled with experience of leveraging digital channels, retail/packaging, and emerging technologies.
  • Proficiency in graphic design, art direction, typography, photography, retouching, layouts & grids, and color strategy.
  • Experience managing external partners and leading teams from the concept phase to execution.
  • Proficiency in presenting and pitching creative concepts and ideas to senior leaders and internal/external partners.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and experience with 3D software and Figma.
  • Systems thinking experience navigating complex matrices, managing stakeholders, and balancing enterprise-level considerations with attention to detail.
  • A link to an online portfolio showcasing your work.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience marketing physical (hardware) products.
  • 8+ years of experience in brand design, either in an ad agency or in-house studio environment.
  • Future-first mindset, and experience creating in new platforms. This may include, but is not limited to: augmented, virtual or mixed reality, gaming, Web3, AI, NFTs, avatars, etc.
  • Fashion, retail, or technology industry experience.
  • Experience pursuing emerging technologies
  • Video editing experience
  • Motion design experience
  • Illustration direction experience
