Job Description
Meta is seeking a highly quantitative finance leader for the Metaverse Product Group. The role is in the Finance & Business Planning (FBP) organization, and you will serve as the financial adviser to VP, Metaverse. You will work across all functions in the Metaverse organization, which consists of Avatars, Horizon, Content, and Technical Art. In addition to supporting near-term and long-term full P&L management/planning for the Metaverse Product Group, you will also oversee the team that manages Gross Profit P&Ls for all planned future VR Device launches. Responsibilities will include leading forecasting and planning, developing strategic and operational insights for the business, and modeling business scenarios to guide product and business decisions. Candidates should be exceptional leaders who are strong analytical and strategic thinkers, effective collaborators who can bring different perspectives together, and have a strong bias toward action.
Finance Director, Metaverse Responsibilities:
- Develop high-trust partnerships with leaders across Metaverse Product Group leadership and support critical business decision making
- Build and manage a budget that supports Metaverse’s operating needs and sets clearly defined short-term goals and operational plans for the next year
- Develop a Long Range Plan that supports Metaverse’s strategic vision and financial goals as well as the Company’s long-term mission
- Oversee quarterly reporting process and ensure Product Group leadership understands key revenue trends and how resources are being deployed
- Lead complex, cross-functional strategic and operational projects
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 15+ years of experience in consulting, investment banking, business strategy, FP&A, business operations and/or analytics
- Experience synthesizing strategic insights and problem-solving individually or in a group setting
- Experience leading and developing teams
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and driving initiatives in a complex, fast-changing environment
- Proven track record in evaluating business decisions, including identifying gaps or business needs, and proposing and implementing solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Senior strategic finance role in a high-growth technology company
