Quality Assurance Tester

Location: Austin, TX

WIN Reality has an exciting opportunity within our Quality Assurance Team in Austin, TX!

WIN Reality is a highly collaborative team focused on creating high-end experiences that allow athletes and coaches to virtually train, analyze, and improve their abilities.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mid-Level Quality Assurance Analyst to play a critical role in our software development process. In this position, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze software requirements, develop test plans, and execute test cases to identify defects and ensure our products meet the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze software requirements and technical specifications.
• Create and maintain detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Execute manual and automated tests to identify defects and verify functionality.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Perform regression testing to validate software changes and updates.
• Document and track issues and defects, and work with the development team to prioritize and resolve them.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
• Provide feedback and recommendations for improving product quality and user experience.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging QA technologies.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst or Tester in a software development environment.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Proficiency in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
• Knowledge of both manual and automated testing techniques.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Experience with VR systems is a plus.
• Experience with API testing is a plus.
• ISTQB or similar QA certification is a plus.
