About this Role:
The Project Manager is a highly collaborative role that works closely with stakeholders to define and understand the project's goals, objectives, and scope and thus creates a plan that outlines the tasks and timelines. The Project Manager is the main point of contact and owns the communication with the project team and stakeholders, manages risks and issues, and monitors progress to ensure that the project stays on track. We are looking for a self-starter who is able to be the liaison between our customers (largely catering to the AR/VR engineering space) and their technical engineering-focused teams. These programs largely start with an emphasis on building teams and designing team structures that will allow for growth opportunities for all resources.
What You'll Do:
• Follow defined project scope and objectives; ensure scope creep, communication, and quality is carefully managed
• Track billable and non-billable costs to ensure billing accuracy.
• Work with stakeholders to refine SLAs, KPIs, and interpret deliverables accurately.
• Work with technical team leads to distribute relevant workflow in batches.
• Provide project updates regularly to internal and external stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
• Work with stakeholders to define project success, understand their reporting requirements, and be a liaison between internal Insight Global staff and consultants.
• Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
• Mentor and coach project coordinators.
• Serve as a direct manager to consultants. Not limited to but including: effectively communicate roles and responsibilities to accomplish project objectives; build a balanced relationship and provide performance feedback; manage culture to drive team performance; offer any professional support needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3+ years of project management experience
• Experience or involvement in managing AR/VR related projects or programs
• Demonstrated heightened attention to detail
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Experience presenting to customer stakeholders and/or senior management
• Demonstrated track record of driving and meeting deliverables
• Experience tracking process or continuous improvement items
• Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
• Technical experience with META Firmware, Hardware, and/or Software
• PMI Certified
