Following the success of our first VR title Archangel, we elevated our ambition and tackled The Walking Dead universe in VR. The result was the 2020 genre-defining hit The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners.


Responsibilities


  • You will be joining a newly established team on a new project. You will be involved in implementation and maintenance of various tools and systems as required by our game design.
  • You will be engaging in close collaboration with the engineers and game designers to determine the best ways to implement those design ideas. The tools and systems will range from gameplay elements like player input to internal systems like inventory management.
  • You will follow established workflows and guidelines for the code development process as well as contribute to them.
  • You will be a part of project architectural discussions as well as code submission reviews.


Requirements


  • Experience with various areas of game game development techniques and processes, either in commercial or personal environments
  • Advanced knowledge of C++ programming language
  • Self managed and self motivated approach to work - being able to understand assignment and devise the most productive plan to execute it, figure out the dependencies and bottlenecks, stay within budgets of time and resources


Advantages

The salary range for this position in Los Angeles is $100,000 – $125,000. The salary offered may vary based on the candidate’s location, qualifications, experience and relevant expertise, among other factors. The range indicated is for base salary only and does not reflect the total compensation package, including bonus, benefits, etc.
