The Virtual Reality Developer supports creating, designing, and modifying detailed illustrations, graphics, full color animations and interactive electronic media. Participates in research and analysis of source data or designs to inform illustration and graphics creation. Supports creating, modifying, and maintaining illustration and graphics development standards, processes, and procedures for support engineering products and services. Maintains and stores illustration and graphics for accessibility. Assists in reviewing and ensuring product compliance with applicable standards and specifications. Supports investigating emerging technologies, techniques, tools, and processes.


Position Responsibilities:


  • Supports activities to develop, document and maintain virtual assets, interfaces and designs for VR software systems.
  • Manipulates blueprints and VR designs to create simulations of complex processes and customer environments. Develops verification plans, test procedures and advises on test environments, executing the test procedures and documenting test results to ensure system requirements are met.
  • Works under direction of technical leadership for VR projects and advises on project feasibility and planning assessments.
  • Leads development, selection, tailoring and deployment of processes, tools and metrics.
  • Tracks and maintains standards and best practices for team; and serves as program ambassador to various initiatives implementing standards around VR design and implementation of training content through VR/AR/xR mediums.


This is a Hybrid position which allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at the Seattle, WA location. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.


Position Responsibilities:


  • Develops technical proposals for high performance aircrew training.
  • Determines customer requirements and develops training courses and materials to satisfy requirements.
  • Teaches developed courses using a variety of media and training devices.
  • Assesses participant learning and adjusts presentation to ensure successful understanding by all students.
  • Mentors other team members.
  • Works under minimal direction.


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills):


  • 1+ years of experience in a B-52 Bomber Program
  • 1+ years in the BGS Programs
  • 1+ years of experience in a Weapons Programs
  • Experience with the 737MAX


This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • C++ Programming
  • UnrealEngine


Typical Education/Experience:


Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.


Summary pay range: 75,000. – 88,000.
