The Reality Labs (RL) group brings together world-class experts to build the tools and experiences that help people feel connected anytime, anywhere with our products and services which include Meta Quest, Augmented Reality (AR), and Virtual Reality (VR).Reality Labs Web Development team manages the front end (CMS) web development of our RL web store. The main purpose of this role is to manage the end to end lifecycle of web development projects, in support of Reality Labs product portfolio. This role will provide technical insights and guidance to XFNs to inform project planning. Projects will consist of new product launches, marketing campaigns, and sales promotions. This role will partner closely with cross functional teams including sales, merchandising, marketing, creative, internationalization, analytics and engineering.Web Development Manager - Reality Labs Responsibilities:
- Communicate technical insights to XFNs to help inform capabilities and go-to-market strategy planning
- Scope technical requirements for new web projects and components across international markets, including engineering and developer tasks
- Code review developers work to ensure all project requirements are met
- Test customer experience across various break points and devices
- Triage development bugs, assigning priority and developer
- Create educational materials for developers and XFN partners
- Establish workback schedules and proactively communicate dependencies and risks throughout each project life cycle
- Manage pre launch testing and publishing plans
- Experience working in Content Management Systems
- Proficient in HTML and CMS
- Experience partnering with web developers and software engineering teams to drive technical solutions
- Knowledgeable in best web practices for optimum performance, accessibility and SEO
- Experience working and building relationships with cross-functional groups
- Effective communication skills, analytical experience, and creative problem-solving
- Team-oriented to work effectively across all levels of management, teams, and disciplines
- Experience with a fast-paced, always-on, startup environment
- Experience managing multiple projects at once, balancing regularly changing priorities
- Experience with an ecommerce business
