We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Development Specialist to join our Fleet Solutions Workflow team. In this role, you will provide clinical expertise and collaborate with sales, marketing, experience design and product development teams to enhance product offerings and increase customer satisfaction. Job Description

Requirements Gathering & Validation:

  • Collaborate with customers, internal teams, and other stakeholders to gather and validate clinical requirements for new products and product enhancements.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of clinical workflows, pain points, and end-user needs to ensure product development aligns with real-world scenarios and customer expectations.
  • Prioritize and document product requirements, working closely with product managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure clarity and consensus.

Clinical Input & Feedback:

  • Act as a clinical subject matter expert, providing insights and guidance throughout the product development process.
  • Review product designs, prototypes, and technical specifications, offering feedback and suggestions to improve usability, functionality, and alignment with clinical best practices.
  • Participate in product testing and validation, ensuring that products meet or exceed clinical performance and safety standards.

User Experience & Workflow Optimization:

  • Collaborate with user experience (UX) designers and other team members to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that simplify complex medical imaging tasks.
  • Analyze and optimize clinical workflows, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and overall user satisfaction.
  • Support the development of user guides, training materials, and other resources to help customers seamlessly integrate products into their clinical workflows.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management:
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant industry regulations, guidelines, and standards (e.g., FDA, HIPAA, IEC, etc.) to ensure product development adheres to necessary requirements.
  • Work with quality assurance and regulatory teams to identify and mitigate potential risks associated with product performance, safety, and compliance.
  • Assist in the preparation of regulatory submissions, clinical evaluations, and risk management documentation.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration & Communication:
  • Act as a liaison between clinical users and internal product development teams, facilitating open communication and ensuring that clinical perspectives are accurately represented.
  • Participate in regular product development meetings, providing updates on clinical requirements, feedback, and project progress.
  • Help build a culture of innovation and collaboration, fostering a shared commitment to improving patient care through cutting-edge medical imaging technology.

Education & Certification:
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Registered healthcare professional with relevant certifications (e.g., ARRT, RDMS, or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in medical imaging, preferably in a hospital or imaging center setting, experience on all modalities is a pre but at a minimum a broad experience in CT on multiple different devices and in multiple care settings.
  • Advanced certifications or training in specialized medical imaging modalities are highly desirable (e.g., CT, MRI, Ultrasound).
  • Prior experience in providing training, education, or technical support for medical imaging products and software.
  • Familiarity with PACS, RIS, and other medical imaging information systems.
