Job Title : Videography

Location : Redmond, WA 98052

Duration – 10+ Months Contract


Job Duties:

What You Will Do

● Define the scope of work with our team, identify video goals, draft production requirements, create timelines, manage deadlines, and draft and oversee the budget for each project.

● Acquire or develop the required documentation, including story concepts, scripts, audio transcripts, equipment needs, shoot schedule, storyboards, talent releases, etc.

● Work independently or with minimal supervision to direct and produce videos, including location scouting, talent vetting, camera, lighting, music soundtrack, audio operations, b-roll, and other pre-and post-production work.


Some Of The Specific Job Tasks:

● Preproduction

○ Video Planning, including script writing and location scouting

○ Equipment setup, including cameras, lighting and sound equipment

● Production

○ Shoot location setup

○ Cinematography

○ Audio recording

○ Directing Talent

● Post Production

○ Editing footage

○ Mixing audio

○ Exporting for video distribution


● Some of the expected Video projects

○ Customer testimonials, from in-store testing

■ Condensing hours worth of footage gathered by our testing team into 60-90 second highlights

○ Company sizzle reel for internal usage

○ Explainer / marketing video introducing ourselves to new groups within our larger organization. Including our capabilities, thinking, knowledge

○ Overview video of what shopping pillars we are testing via BTS

○ Specific AR solution examples from testing (signposts vs path vs…)


Minimum Requirements:

● Bachelor's degree in film, video production, communications, or related field; an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills have been acquired may substitute for a degree.

● Extensive knowledge of and demonstrated ability in shooting video in and out of real-world settings, including retail environments.

● Expertise in the use of a variety of digital camera types and video formats.

● Superior understanding of how to work with light and sound in video.

● Well versed in using gimbals and other camera stabilizers to achieve steady shots.

● Expert understanding of Adobe suite including Premier, Rush, After Effects or Final Cut Pro, or equivalent video editing software.

● Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to conduct interviews and communicate or present verbally in a clear and professional manner.

● Proven ability to work well in a team atmosphere and in work environment with shifting priorities and deadlines.

● Strong project management skills.

● Ability to be mindful of deadlines, show respect for varying skill sets, juggle priorities, and perform a variety of tasks, including administrative ones.

● Must be available to complete shoots at various hours from early morning until late night as needed.


Specific Capabilities/Tools:

● Familiarity and experience with

○ Digital video systems, cameras, software

○ Audio equipment, microphones, hardware

○ Video production hardware, backdrops, stands, etc

● Experience with video post production,

○ Video editing software (Final Cut Pro or equivalent)

○ Audio editing

● Experience lighting and shooting inside a large retail environment


Nice to Have:

● Augmented or Virtual Reality experience

● Mixed Reality recording (overlaying holograms on recorded video) often using two separate camera sources

● UI/UX testing familiarity. Consumer research viewpoint. Review, selection & tagging of footage.
