TITLE: Generative (AI) Immersive (AR/VR) Content Engineer

POSITION TYPE: Full Time (W2)

WHO we’re looking for:

We are looking for a Generative (AI) Immersive (AR/VR) Content Engineer to join our team.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and fine tune generative image ML models.
• Find and evaluate image training data sets.
• Contribute towards building future mobile computing and web platform (browser) for mixed reality use cases.
• Actively participate in our innovation process – from prototypes, research papers and patents.
• Communicate with other team members to establish an effective pipeline.

Required Experience and Education:

• 2-4 years of experience
• Master's/PhD degree in Computer Science or relevant field.
• Strong development skills in at least one of the following languages: Python and/or C++.
• Hands-on experience with fine-tuning stable diffusion models or depth estimate is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with NLP for text generation is a plus.
• Familiarity with Web technologies and/or Web Extensions is a plus.

• Self-motivated individual with the ability to thrive in a team-based or independent environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organization skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Limited supervision and the exercise of discretion.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Passion for quality and writing clean, solid, readable code that scales and performs well.
• Ability to work tactically and strategically at the same time.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include ability to distinguish the nature of objects by using the eye. Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal between 50% - 95% of work time, including prolonged periods of time. Requires considerable (90%+) work utilizing high visual acuity/detail, numeric/character distinction, and moderate hand/finger dexterity.

Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines, intellectual challenge, some language barriers, and project management deadlines. May require working additional time beyond normal schedule and periodic travel.
