Work Categorization: These positions require daily on-site presence and are not subject to hybrid work.
Note: These are part-time temporary Support positions (up to 24 hours per week) until February 29, 2024.
Duties: We are seeking passionate and detail-oriented VR Pilot Assistants to support a pilot program utilizing cutting-edge VR technology, including Bodyswaps and other innovative VR applications. As the VR Pilot Assistant, you will play a critical role in assisting with the onboarding, monitoring, and support of participants who will be testing this exciting new technology. The pilot program will take place over a period of 3 months and will require a commitment of approximately 20 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the onboarding of participants to the VR program, including setting-up hardware and software, providing necessary training, and ensuring a seamless participant experience
- Monitor participant progress and provide guidance and support as needed, utilizing your strong interpersonal and communication skills to help troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Collect and analyze feedback from participants, providing regular updates to the project team to ensure that the pilot program is achieving its goals
- Assist with the development of program materials, including user guides and training materials, to help ensure a smooth and effective program implementation
- Help troubleshoot technical issues as needed, working closely with the project team to escalate any issues that require additional support
Qualifications
- High School or equivalent
- Prior experience with VR technology and knowledge of basic troubleshooting techniques
- An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered; preference will be given to applicants meeting the education requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse group of individuals
- Ability to work independently and take initiative to solve problems, while also working collaboratively with others to achieve shared goals
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills to help manage multiple aspects of the program
- Availability to work approximately 20 hours per week over a 6-month period
