Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to strategic decisions, collaborating with Design, Product, and Executive teams.
  • Design complete games featuring innovative core mechanics and game loops.
  • Provide and receive real-time feedback from fellow designers to enhance product quality.
  • Collaborate with PMs, engineers, researchers, content strategists, and QA, guiding user experience implementation from inception to post-launch support.
  • Resolve challenges alongside cross-functional leads including user research, data science, and product management.
  • Promote game design advocacy within the company.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Possess 7-10+ years of valuable game design experience within the mobile/VR/AR domains.
  • Demonstrate involvement in the development of a minimum of 2 successful titles (e.g., critically acclaimed, award-winning) from concept to completion.
  • Show familiarity with 3D engines like Unreal or Unity through usage or game creation.
  • Exhibit proficiency in leading comprehensive development projects and crafting games from idea to launch.
  • Showcase expertise in coordinating and cooperating with diverse cross-functional teams to manifest a game's vision.
  • Display ability to inspire teams with your game vision while actively engaging in development, prototyping, and refining gameplay experience.
  • Present a robust portfolio highlighting prototyped or shipped games that underscores your game design prowess.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possess 10+ years of game design experience or a minimum of 2 shipped titles in the AAA category.
  • Possess a background in developing or designing Mobile, AR, or VR games.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with technical game design facets, such as scripting in Unity or working with blueprints in Unreal.
  • Exhibit general design knowledge encompassing a range of design specializations.
  • Boast a track record of shipping titles in roles such as Sr./Lead Level Designer, Sr./Lead System Designer, or Sr./Lead Gameplay Designer.
