AT A GLANCE

Now hiring engaging, motivated, and tech-savvy individuals for Meta’s biggest event of the year! As a Meta Demo Specialist, you will deliver world-class hands-on demos of our clients' AR/VR products at their on-campus Meta Connect event in Menlo Park, CA. Your mission is to bring these products to life through flawless execution of demos and product knowledge expertise.


Must be available to work 4–6-hour shifts between the hours of 9am-5pm PST for the event run-through on Tuesday 9/26 and the event days on Wednesday 9/27 and Thursday 9/28. Training to take place both virtually and in-person on the Menlo Park campus the week of 9/18: TBD on exact dates/times.


$200 bonus for successful completion of training and event days!

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Hands-on demonstrations of our clients AR & VR products in an event setting
  • Actively engage with event attendees
  • Be an expert on our client’s products
  • Submit event recap reporting capturing insights & audience feedback
  • Other tasks as assigned by management


WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Experience and Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 3+ years of in-person product demonstration experience
  • 3+ years customer-facing experience in experiential or retail sales environments required

Skills and Attributes:

  • Exemplary interpersonal communication; soft skills, written, verbal, and on-camera
  • Ability to build and foster business relationships independently at multiple levels
  • Ability to show patience and tact and remain calm under pressure
  • High level of initiative and self-motivation with a continued drive to learn and succeed
  • Ability to practice good judgment in analyzing information, strategic/critical thinking, and decision making

  • Regularly talk, sit, stand, walk and bend over, repetitive use of hands/arms, repetitive use of legs and grasp
  • Frequently lift and carry up to 25 lbs
  • Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Continuous hand/eye coordination and fine manipulation
