Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day development of one or more teams to deliver project objectives throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Drive continuous alignment on scope, dependencies, and deliverables to deliver work on time and on budget.
  • Report on project status & health to senior leadership, identifying blockers and challenges, and resolving issues whenever possible.
  • Foster a positive team culture and rituals based on individual responsibility, trust, learning, and communication.
  • Ensure all known work is tasked in the backlog, prioritized, and up to date.
  • Work closely with QA, participating in test plan creation, running bug triage meetings, etc.
  • Lead and rally your team, mediate conflict and contribute to overall studio culture.
  • Work with project leadership to ensure quality while working within project constraints.
  • Provide mentorship to associate producers and junior developers.
  • Work closely with external vendors, ensuring they have what is needed and that their work is getting reviewed by appropriate parties.


Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience producing AA or AAA video games for consoles, PC, or VR
  • Experience producing 20-40+ member teams.
  • Knowledge of various project management methodologies including Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and people management skills with the ability to influence a range of audiences.
  • High-energy with willingness to be creatively disruptive.
  • Strong analytical, diagnostic and problem solving skills.
  • Proficient user of Confluence, Jira, G-Suite, Microsoft Office.
  • Passionate gamer.


Pluses:

  • Experience with VR/AR development.
  • Experience working on IP-based titles.
  • Experience with shipping games for multiple platforms simultaneously.
  • Experience with first party submissions for Sony, Nintendo, and/or Microsoft.
  • Experience with performance capture, VO recording, and localization pipelines.


Base salary range between $90,000 USD - $110,000 USD (Base salary range for applicants located within the United States)
