Survios is searching for a talented Lead Producer to help lead our next VR game. We are looking for a positive, flexible, and collaborative individual that will focus on bringing the best out of our team. You will lead production for the entire project, including managing the roadmap, milestones, budget, and staffing plan. You will also manage and cultivate relationships with IP partners and external vendors, and develop effective pipelines for working with them.


Responsibilities:

  • Foster a positive team culture and rituals based on trust, learning, and communication.
  • Lead, manage, and mentor the production team.
  • Support the project lead in all aspects of production in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
  • Document and communicate project status to the project team and studio leadership.
  • Plan, coordinate, and track project milestones and roadmaps.
  • Create and manage project budget and staffing plan.
  • Ensure the production team effectively manages priorities, dependencies, tasks, and backlogs.
  • Identify, communicate, and propose solutions to project risks.
  • Ensure that the project is on track to deliver against the roadmap, and work with project leadership to make adjustments, as necessary.
  • Ensure necessary processes and standards are adhered to, while identifying areas for improvement.
  • Cultivate and coordinate relationships with IP partners and align on the use of their IP in our games.
  • Setup and manage relationships with external vendors.
  • Identify, track, and get approval for all IP-related content in the project.
  • Coordinate relationships with internal/external QA teams to develop and execute test plans.


Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience producing video games.
  • 4+ years of experience leading and managing teams.
  • 1+ shipped titles on console, PC, or VR.
  • Experience producing 20-40+ member teams.
  • Extensive experience in Jira.
  • Knowledge of various project management methodologies, including Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and people management skills with the ability to influence a range of audiences.
  • Proficient user of Confluence, Google G-Suite, Microsoft Office.
  • Passionate gamer.


Pluses:

  • Experience with VR/AR development.
  • Experience working on IP-based titles.
  • Experience with boxing/melee/fighting games.
  • Experience with shipping games for multiple platforms simultaneously.
  • Experience with first party submissions for Sony, Nintendo, and/or Microsoft.
  • Experience with performance capture, VO recording, and localization pipelines.


Base salary range between $170,000 USD - $200,000 USD (Base salary range for applicants located within the United States)
