Job Summary


The University of Kentucky, Department of Radiology, Division of Neuroradiology is expanding and seeks an exceptional radiologist for a full-time faculty position (working exclusive for UK). This overnight position is 7 on/14 off, ~10p-8a; on-site, hybrid or remote.


Clinical work includes CT and MR neuroimaging in adults and children as well as CT, MR, US and XR body imaging, predominantly on inpatients and emergency patients.


Our primary practice location is the academic medical center in Lexington, which is a Level I Trauma Center for adults and children. We are a Comprehensive Stroke Center. We have professional services contracts with a few regional community hospitals including Frankfort, our state capital. Our division emphasizes collegiality and flexibility. We promote faculty career development.


In addition to a complement of 32 diagnostic radiology residents, we have two Neuroradiology fellowships, each with one fellow per year. Some participation in workstation teaching is expected.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities


The successful candidate must have an MD degree or equivalent, be board-certified or board-eligible by The American Board of Radiology, and have subspecialty training; procedural skills would be a plus. Academic rank will depend on qualifications.
