Apple Vision Pro is a revolutionary spatial computer that seamlessly blends digital content with your physical space. It will allow us to do the things we love in ways never before possible — all while staying connected to the people around us.


We are seeking candidates for a Senior Demo EPM position to facilitate a unique range of in-person, on-site technical demos, user research studies, and cross functional engineering efforts.


In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating early stage demos to a range of audiences. You will also partner with HW/SW teams to drive internal user research studies, supporting multiple cross functional engineering streams. Working with highly specialized (SW / HW / design / research) engineers in addition to product marketing, communications, and creator teams, this position is detail oriented and requires a strong communications and technical background.


Key Qualifications

Experience with AR/VR projects and/or product demos.

Exceptional verbal/written communication skills, can communicate well with senior corporate executives / VIPs / engineers.

Strong technical, problem solving and debugging skills.

Ability to maintain composure and focus while troubleshooting and solving technical issues.

Flexibility to regularly rotate through different technical specialties and skill sets.

Knowledge of sophisticated system level debugging and root cause analysis.

Experience in technical project management.

Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams.

Ability to work independently, raise issues and take corrective action.

Experience with iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS and/or tvOS.

Keen eye and attention to detail.

Resourceful, passionate, creative and results oriented with high energy and a positive attitude.

Ability to work on weekends as needed.


Description

You enjoy working with highly technical teams, and excel at translating their visions into compelling demos. You have a keen understanding regarding the state of emerging technologies and how they relate to the user experience. You have been closely involved in user studies / user research, and know how to leverage your observational skills while gathering data. You’re comfortable working independently, but thrive cross collaborating. You are successful because you are detail oriented, self motivated, and have a high tolerance for change and ambiguity. Your success is heavily derived from the strength of your relationships.


The ideal candidate will have a strong technical and communications background, and is driven to solve challenging problems. You have the ability to consistently translate technical experiences to every kind of audience, from developers to CEOs.


Education & Experience

Bachelors degree and 8+ years of experience required.

* Experience driving the experiential quality of multiple AR/VR product demos.

* Experience facilitating a broad range of user research efforts / studies on accelerated timelines.

* Ability to thrive in cross functional, fast-paced technical environments under ambiguous circumstances.

* Experience in data collection/annotation, user study demos, participant coordination.

* Background in technical productions / experiential events.

* Experience with AR/VR development is a plus.

* Experience in a range of lab functions (inventory management, system set up/operations, data collection, etc) is a plus.


Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $160,700 and $241,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
