As a Trust Strategist, you’ll join a team of product strategists who help shape the strategy for what we build in RL when it comes to all things Trust, including privacy, security, integrity, accessibility and inclusion.
Trust Strategist, Reality Labs Responsibilities:
- Develop and drive Monetization Trust strategy for RL and its constituent product groups.
- Execute on our cross-functional approach to Monetization Trust in new and existing features.
- Help design RL positioning on Trust-sensitive topics, taking into account highly complex tradeoffs and considerations for various internal and external stakeholders.
- Define principles and implement frameworks for building other trust-related innovation into the product development process.
- Partner with product teams and other strategists to identify, escalate, and resolve tension between product objectives and organizational values.
- Help establish and direct long-term goals of product and engineering teams as they relate to the privacy, security, integrity, accessibility and equity for monetization products and features.
- Identify opportunities for organizational growth, process improvements, and creative and scalable solutions to improve our efficiency as a team.
- Model inclusive behaviors and help build a diverse organization that values, respects, and taps into different backgrounds and perspectives.
- Apply industry expertise to influence trust-related considerations in product development.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 6+ years experience in the technology sector.
- Effective communication and drafting skills, including experience drafting and presenting strategic analysis for senior leadership / executives
- Experience working with monetization technologies, products, and services
- Experience working in privacy, policy, safety, security, and/or integrity.
- Experience forging relationships with a cross-functional group of technologists, including product, engineering, user research, legal, communications, or policy teams.
- Experience managing programs and building consensus among technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- Interest for building technology that is safe, responsible, and equitable.
- 10+ years experience in the technology sector with a bachelor's degree.
- Advanced degree in public policy, law, business, or ethics.
- Experience in AR, VR or smart home devices.
- Experience producing guidance under deadlines.
- Experience with social technology.
