We have an opening for an in-house, FULL TIME, Accounting Specialist to join our team in our Plainview, NY (Long Island) office. This accounting role will assist the accounting manager in running reports and executing the functions of accounts receivables and accounts payables.

Konig American is seeking for an AR/AP Clerk to join our team with excellent attention to detail, great customer service. This individual will be responsible for completing all AP and AR transactions within the ERP system as well as related documentation, and filing responsibilities along with other office duties and be a resource for all departments.

Key Tasks:

 •  Processing Accounts Payable invoices, full cycle.

 •  Posting cash to customer accounts.

 •  Preparing daily deposits and monitoring accounts for certain transactions.

 •  Handling communications to existing customers and/or vendors in regard to payment issues or solutions.

 •  Filing related documents and staying organized.

Experience:

·    2 years or equivalent office experience required.

·    AP/AR experience a plus. 

·    Experience in using NetSuite ERP system or other accounting software a plus.

Qualifications & Skills:

· Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel including use of formulas).

· Basic knowledge of bookkeeping and data entry.

· Highly detail oriented with excellent record-keeping and organizational skills.

· Be able to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
