At Meta Reality Labs, we're building devices and experiences that make people feel closer. This includes product groups for Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), Home & Work, and the Metaverse, along with research and development labs and artificial intelligence teams.We’re looking for an experienced Lifecycle Product Marketing Director to lead a team of marketers who focus on taking care of new and existing Meta Quest owners. This person will lead a team responsible for developing our lifecycle strategy, building meaningful customer interactions, increasing product usage, and nurturing brand loyalty.The ideal candidate will be able to earn the trust of executive leadership and cross-functional partners in Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, Sales, and Communications. The ability to both build a function from the ground up while simultaneously driving results quickly is key. The leader is also expected to develop a high-functioning, healthy and resilient team of experts to impact the business.


Director, Lifecycle Product Marketing, VR Devices Responsibilities:


  • Build and lead a high performing team of lifecycle/loyalty/engagement product marketers
  • Actively manage team performance, develop team members and support career growth
  • Contribute to broader organization health through process improvement and community-building
  • Work hands-on with key stakeholders to advance critical strategic initiatives
  • Responsible for delivering MAD growth, improving engagement, and earning fans
  • Develop a strategic engagement plan for Meta Quest products to drive MAD/MAU
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Sales, Marketing, and Communications to nurture customer loyalty, reduce churn and increase overall user engagement.
  • Influence software, service and device roadmaps as needed to drive engagement
  • Identify improvement opportunities to the current ways of working, and partner cross-functionally to implement the highest priority initiatives


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree
  • 14 + years of experience with engagement, loyalty, and/or membership marketing
  • 5+ years of experience with team leadership, people management, and/or cross-functional team leadership
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and fluid environment, adapting, spotting issues early, and escalating


Preferred Qualifications:


  • MBA degree
  • Experience managing a multi-disciplinary team
  • Experience working on emerging consumer technologies, brands and/or products
  • Knowledge of Virtual or Augmented reality
