Job Description

Prospective candidates for the VR Graduate Research Assistant Position with the employer will gain valuable experience in virtual reality gaming, sport consumer behavior, online consumer behavior, and more. As a Research Assistant, you will work closely with Dr. Jinhee Yoo to support research activities, collect data, recruit participants, and execute experiments.


Duties And Responsibilities


  • Collect data through experiments, surveys, library research, and other project-specific methodology.
  • Recruit research participants and coordinate experiment sessions.
  • Execute research experiments and document results.
  • Enter, interpret, synthesize, and analyze data.
  • Write and edit materials for publication and presentation.


Required Qualifications


  • Available only to Gannon graduate students who can work for the full 2023 academic year (i.e., Fall 2023 and Spring 2024).
  • Graduate students in Business, Psychology, Communications, Engineering, or related field only.
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Proficient in using Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Responsible, detail-oriented candidate wanted.
  • No history of seizure or epilepsy.


Additional Information


  • This is a part-time position with a maximum of 10 hours per week.
  • The position is non-exempt and classified as Professional.
  • The position length is 9 months.
  • Work schedule is weekdays.
  • Any limitations using VR headsets will disqualify a candidate from the position.
