About The Job

The Augmented Reality (AR) Team is working on the future of computing and Google’s central role in this emerging space. We build innovative hardware and software to help make computing more perceptive, immersive, and accessible.

Our Systems Engineering team collaborates across the entire AR team - hardware (e.g., Display System, Electronics, Audio, Sensing), software (e.g., OS and Platform, Perception, Experiences), Product, UX, Technical Program Management, and Product Integrity. It’s a small team of engineers with backgrounds in both hardware and software, responsible for cross-functional features that have direct impact on end-user capabilities (e.g., display performance, system latency, system power, system thermals, interaction and inputs, etc.).

The Google Augmented Reality team is a diverse group of experts tasked with building the foundations for great immersive computing and building helpful, delightful user experiences. We're focused on making immersive computing accessible to billions of people through mobile devices, and our scope continues to grow and evolve.
