Job Summary: We are seeking a Software Developer to support various Research and Development efforts with Electronic Warfare, Live Virtual Construct, Training and Development, AV/VR/XR/MR, and Software-Defined-Radios. The ideal candidate possesses demonstrated experience in multiple programming languages and software development programs and understands basic radar theory, electromagnetic spectrum operations and weapons systems used in a DoD environment. Responsibilities: * Develop software and plug-ins in C, C#, C++, and other related programing languages.
  • Performs Research & Development into simulation and training software.
  • Designing and developing software solutions for simulation projects, with a focus on Software-Defined Radios, Arduino and Hack RF hardware/software, Modern Air Combat Environment, and ARMOR simulation technologies.
  • Implementing and testing software modules to ensure their functionality, performance, and security.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging software issues, identifying, and implementing appropriate solutions.
  • Collaborating with other teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth integration of software modules and systems. Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering.
  • 4 years of experience in developing, creating, and maintaining the following systems:
  • Communications software and database packages.
  • Compilers, assemblers, or utility programs for software applications.
  • Demonstrated experience with programming languages such as C#, C++, Java, or XML.
  • Experience with UML, MS Project, and MS Office Tools.
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance. Preferred Qualifications: * Previous teaching/instructional design experience a plus.
  • Familiarity with aircraft simulation/training a plus.
  • Strong background in programming/reprogramming using C#.
  • Familiarity and understanding of the Electromagnetic Spectrum or operations.
