Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with the engineering and design teams to define and develop content in bespoke VR engine, Unity, Unreal, and other graphic engines.
  • Design, manage and maintain the pipeline from artists and designers through to deployment.
  • Optimize content by enhancing performance and instructing the artists and designers on asset creation, modeling, and texturing best practices.
  • Work closely with engineers to implement interactive objects and systems.
  • Quickly solve issues with your cross-functional leads.
  • Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Responsible for maintaining assets from creation to shipping.
  • Ability to collaborate and iterate based on the team's needs.
  • Develop DCC tools and plug-ins
  • Develop broad technical expertise to assist in a wide variety of technical and artistic tasks


Minimum Qualifications

  • Extensive content pipeline development experience, with emphasis on building efficient and user-friendly pipelines and tools for content creation and asset tracking, in AAA games, FX, and/or big tech companies
  • Knowledge of pipeline and tools design and implementation/optimization of those in large, multi-team, distributed environments
  • 3+ years of experience in game development or film as a Technical Artist
  • Experience with Python/PyQt, Maya PyMEL
  • Experience collaborating on multi-disciplinary teams
  • Experience communicating with team members including engineers and artists
  • Experience with 3D software packages such as Maya, Houdini, Substance, Photoshop, etc
  • Experience with game optimization techniques and performance analysis
  • Experience working with Unity or Unreal


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building mobile applications
  • Content development experience, including shipping one or more titles
  • Prior virtual reality experience
  • In-depth knowledge of Perforce, git, and other source control systems
  • Shader programming experience
  • Experience with C++,C#
  • Meta Quest game development
