RedShred is looking for a talented AR/MR developer to build real-world user experiences to support hands-on maintenance scenarios. Potential candidates should have real-world AR/MR development experience bringing new solutions to end users. At RedShred you will work at the intersection of machine learning, augmented reality, and knowledge extraction from complex documents to enable users to solve challenging problems with augmented intelligence.

 

As an AR/MR developer, your duties will include:

●     Designing, prototyping, integrating, and evaluating AR/MR solutions for HoloLens 2 and similar platforms

●     Working with the data science team to integrate machine learning model output into the AR/MR experience

●     Staying up to date with the state of the art in frameworks and user experiences for building compelling experiences in AR/MR

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

●     5+ years of experience in C/C++ or related languages

●     B.S. degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field

●     2+ years of experience using or building 3D engines (Unity, Unreal, etc.) to build 3D applications (or equivalent)

●     Experience with some combination of computer graphics, rendering, and physics-based simulation

●     Expected to be self-motivated and committed towards delivering results

●     Flexible and quick learner expected

●     Previous experience in software development

●     Hands-on experience in augmented reality development with HoloLens 2 or similar platforms

●     Experience designing new user experiences and interfaces in AR/MR

●     Experience integrating API-based services into AR/MR applications

●     Excellent verbal and written communication skills expected

●     Deadline and detail-oriented

●     Willingness to engage with and have creative discussions with the team

●     U.S. citizenship required

 

Preference may be given to candidates who also have the following skills:

●     Master’s Degree or PhD in “STEM” fields (e.g. Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or Psychology or Human Factors)

●     Experience with game development

●     Experience with gamification

●     Experience with user modeling

●     Experience with e-Learning technologies
