Job Description

Our client, a VR production company, is seeking a Live-Action Producer to join their team.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to project personnel to ensure alignment on client expectations, potential hurdles, and milestones
  • Collaborate with the Project teams to identify and implement efficiencies and proactively address pain points
  • Enhance, document and maintain standards across all teams leveraging and evolving the show bible
  • Manage timely communication between the Project Team, Vendors and Crew
  • Advise on production concerns throughout development & ensure scope is maintained
  • Maintain a birds-eye view of the production pipeline to effectively manage timeline expectations
  • Collaborate with Production to glean best practices for optimal proficiencies
  • Spearhead and clearly communicate progress on key milestones
  • Secure, onboard, and manage outsourced resources (Vendor & Crew)
  • Create shoot schedule, facilitate casting, and oversee production logistics
  • Schedule and facilitate shoot related meetings with Vendors and Project Team
  • Proactively identify production challenges, legal risks and potential conflicts between schedule, cost and scope
  • Review materials with Project Team to drive alignment and establish responsibilities & workflow on set
  • Coordinate VO sessions and deliver VO assets to Post-Production
  • Delegate tasks to the Production Coordinator for project logistics
  • Possess a strong presence on set managing talent and crew and ensure adherence to quality standards and specs
  • Manage expectations with the ability to identify and articulate alternative solutions when changes arise
  • Direct the communication flow between the Customer, Director and Crew
  • Ensure employee, crew/cast & Customer safety is always the first priority
  • Lean on the Creative Director and Solutions Architect to ensure Customer satisfaction is achieved

Musts:

  • Minimum 5+ years experience in Production with hands on experience being on set, building shoot schedules, and creating and managing budgets
  • Highly self-motivated, well-organized, and an excellent communicator
  • Meticulous with a keen eye for detail
  • Mitigate risks and approach hurdles with ownership, positivity, and a proactive solutions-oriented attitude
  • Intuition on when to work autonomously and when to escalate to Production teammates
  • Sustainable performance and ability to remain calm and in control when under pressure
  • Knowledge of pre-production, shoot/field production and post-production best practices for live-action content
  • Excellent written/verbal communication, interpersonal, & organizational skills
  • Proven cross-functional collaborator
  • High aptitude and enthusiasm for strategizing and problem solving
  • Familiar with GSuite, Slack and Smartsheets
  • Ability to travel domestically on an as-need basis to execute productions


Pay rate: $40/hr-$50/hr W2
