Expected compensation: $87.00 - $98.00 per hour


HireArt is helping the world's largest social network find an experienced Prototyper (AR/VR) to research, design and create interactive prototypes in areas including augmented and virtual reality. In this role, you will build and enhance prototyping platforms in partnership with other prototypers and technical teams.


We're looking for someone with a Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience. You have experience with 3D game engines (e.g. Unity, Unreal) and experience coding in C#.


As a Prototyper (AR/VR), You'll


  • Research, design and create interactive prototypes.
  • Collaborate with other technical teams to build/enhance prototyping platforms.
  • Set up/maintain prototypes and present to various audiences.
  • Communicate analysis to cross-functional partners.
  • Give and solicit real-time feedback from others in order to approve the quality of the product.
  • Partner effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g. research scientists, PMs, engineers and user researchers) overseeing the implementation of the user experience from product conception to launch (including post-launch design support).
  • Create product-ready assets for internal rapid testing and external release.
  • Advocate for product design throughout the company.

Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with 3D game engines (e.g. Unity, Unreal)
  • Experience coding in C#
  • Experience with writing tools to enable designers


Good To Have Skills


  • Design tools in Unity experience
  • Editor Tools in Unity to enable designers/teammates
  • Knowledge of using design tools like Figma, Sketchfab


Commitment:This is a full-time, 6-month contract position staffed via HireArt. This position will be available to candidates who are local to Seattle, WA.
