• Our client, an innovative Chinese start-up specializing in the XR+AI field, strives to deliver premier immersive entertainment experiences. They believe in leveraging AI technology to revolutionize social gaming, immersive storytelling, and next-generation XR headset marketing.
• Aiming to target the next generation of Mixed Reality (MR) hardware platforms, they envision creating a social product akin to the likes of Roblox for smartphones/PCs, and VRChat/Rec Room for social VR platforms. Their goal is to offer an endlessly creative MR social experience via a globally connected XR community.
• Bringing together a wealth of experience from ByteDance, Tencent, Microsoft, and Ogilvy, their core team members add a diverse range of talents to the mix. Their CEO, formerly an executive at Microsoft China and founder and CEO of Mtime.com, has a track record of successful entrepreneurial experiences. • Now, they are on the lookout for a passionate and innovative technical leader to join their ranks. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, experience in initiating projects from scratch, a deep understanding of the AI and XR fields, extensive team management experience, and hands-on technical experience. This leader will be expected to guide the team in crafting technical solutions, ensuring product quality, tackling technical challenges, and driving product innovation and progress.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Design and implement social XR products for multiplayer online games and drive product technological innovation and progress
• Lead the technical team, responsible for the technical development and project management of the team, ensuring the efficient and high-quality completion of the project
• Research and apply AI technology to improve the product's intelligence level and user experience
• Work closely with product, design, operation teams, and others to promote the overall development and optimization of the product
• Continuously focus on cutting-edge technology and trends in the industry, and provide support and guidance for the product's technical direction and development

We hope you have:

• A Master's or Ph.D. degree in computer science or a related field.
• Proficiency in both Chinese and English as working languages.
• Experience in multiplayer online games or social products, a deep understanding and practical experience of 3D game development, XR SDKs (e.g., ARCore, ARKit, OpenXR), and 3D engines.
• Rich software development experience, with at least three years of team management experience.
• Proficient in programming languages such as C++, Python, Unity, and familiar with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine;
• Familiarity with the application of AI technology in gaming and XR fields, with relevant technical experience in machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision.
• 0 to 1 project experience, familiar with the product development process, and can build high quality products from scratch.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and team collaboration skills, excellent communication and leadership skills, and remote working experience across regions.
• A solid understanding of Swift language and familiarity with iOS system development would be a plus.
