The Technology Development Group is seeking a software engineer to help define and implement user experience paradigms for various compute environments across our platforms. This engineer will help architect and build the foundation of novel user experiences. Being successful in this area will result in a delightful experience for all users of our products. Key Qualifications

8+ years experience in server software programming languages such as Java

Passion for creating the highest quality software

Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills

Willingness to explore new technologies and frameworks to design the next generation services

Experienced in designing & developing highly scalable applications

Track record of practicing test-driven development

Strong communication, collaboration & interpersonal skills

Experience/understanding of security & cryptography is a plus

Education & Experience

BS or MS in Computer Science/Engineering or related technical field, equivalent practical experience will be considered.


Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $144,500 and $250,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
