Key Qualifications

At least 2 years of relevant experience

A strong drive to solve novel and challenging problems

Excellent programming skills and knowledge of C++, Objective C, or Swift

3D math and Linear Algebra

Ability to collaborate with designers and artists to achieve their vision

Deep expertise in 3D mesh processing, deformation, animation, simulation, or look development


Description

Responsibilities include:

• Design and develop complex software systems and APIs

• Collaborate with other Apple teams to integrate state of the art research

• Drive technical direction of the product


Education & Experience

BS / MS / PhD in Computer Science or equivalent experience


Additional Requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrable & notable public work in the areas of visual effects, feature animation, or AAA video games

• Experience with iOS development or embedded hardware


Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $130,000 and $242,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
