Key Qualifications

Excellent programming skills and knowledge of C++, Objective C or Swift

Understanding of entire graphics pipeline

Experience with shader writing

3D math and Linear Algebra

Ability to collaborate with designers and artists to achieve their visual target


Description

Apple creates amazing user experiences with the newest technologies. You will have the opportunity to implement algorithms that pushes the state of the art to create the best experiences for our products. We work closely with Apple's Human Interface design team to define the next generation of computing. The candidate for this role will be comfortable working in a dynamic and creative environment.


Education & Experience

BS / MS / PhD in Computer Science or equivalent experience


Additional Requirements

• Knowledge of modern renderers and rendering techniques

• Experienced with Metal API

• Experienced with application performance profiling and optimization


Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $130,000 and $242,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
