Team Introduction

Pico is a leading VR/AR platform with independent innovation and R&D capabilities, focusing on VR all-in-one technology. Pico is committed to offering immersive and interactive VR experiences to our customers, including providing tailor-made solutions for our enterprise clients in the fields of education and healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Develop wearable hardware devices and interaction paradigms for XR (AR/VR/MR)
• Under the guidance of mentor, conduct independent research and development projects in haptics, sensors, algorithms, functional materials, perception and/or human computer interactions
• Collaborate with internal departments and external industry partners to develop advanced technologies

Qualifications

• Currently in the process of obtaining a PhD degree in the field of Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field
• Research skills involving defining problems, exploring solutions, and analyzing and presenting results
• Hands on experience with rapid prototyping for HW and user experiences
• Proficiency in C/C++, Matlab and/or Python. Applicability in user studies and statistical evaluations. Experience of ML tools is a plus
• Familiarity with soft functional materials, their fabrication, prototyping and testing and/or haptic interactions and experience design
• Interpersonal experience with cross functional and cross cultural. Energetic and motivated to work in dynamic work environment with highly skilled talent
• Proven track record of achieving results as demonstrated in accepted papers at top tier conferences and journals
• Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (hourly)

The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $71- $71. We cover 100% premium coverage for Full-Time intern medical insurance after 90 days from the date of hire. Medical coverage only, no dental or vision coverage.

Our time off and leave plans are: Paid holidays and paid sick leave. The sick leave entitlement is based on the time you join.

We also provide mental and emotional health benefits through our Employee Assistance Program and provide reimbursements for your mobile phone expense. The Company reserves the right to modify or change these benefits programs at any time, with or without notice.
