Summary
The Augmented Reality Designer is a visual storyteller providing our clients with engaging design solutions that make the greatest impact, and drive consumer awareness and purchase intent in digital environments and augmented reality lenses for Snapchat, TikTok and Meta.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Essential Functions
- Designs and produces original art and layout for a wide range of client needs, including user interface design, 3d model textures, websites, social and other digital media.
- Receives initial direction from design director and project director, and works with minimal supervision.
- Interacts and collaborates with creative and non-creative teams.
- Reads and understands the creative brief.
- Manages multiple projects.
- Works with Resource Manager to optimize time and assigned tasks to efficiently meet client needs and deadlines.
- Communicates with project managers in getting project assets and information.
- Monitors projects through all phases of production.
Other Responsibilities
- Overtime will be required from time to time.
- Understands and abides by the agency’s business practices and philosophies as well as understands R&R’s policies and procedures.
- Performs other work-related responsibilities which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four-year college or university required; minimum two (2) years’ of work experience in the design field; excellent online design portfolio that showcases a wide range of creative skills; strong production skills understanding of digital publishing processes.
- Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and AfterEffects).
- Knowledge of Blender and associated 3D graphics software for animation, texturing, compositing and motion graphics.
- Video editing and 3-D software knowledge helpful.
Work Environment
This job operates in a remote capacity. Standard equipment including computer and software provided.
