Must Haves:

• Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance (U.S. Citizen)
• 5+ years of creating and delivering professional game, training simulation or similar application using Unity
• Advanced knowledge of the Unity Game Engine and Editor (debugging, optimization, designing, developing)
• Ability to architect maintainable, extensible, and performant code using C# (open to other C programming languages, but C# preferred)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment, able to meet deadlines

Plusses:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or similar
• Strong knowledge of Unity game networking paradigms
• Understanding of AR/VR UX design principles
• Experience creating Unity-based applications for VR platforms and Unreal Engine
• Proficient in 3D mathematics and 3D modeling

Day to Day:

Insight Global is looking for a Senior Unity (VR) Software Engineer to join a team of open-minded, collaborative, and creative individuals, who is passionate about creating next-generation virtual reality-based training solutions. Candidates must have proven professional programming experience in video games, serious games, simulations, and virtual reality within the DoD space. This person will be on-site in the Orlando, FL area and a part of the Special Projects XR team. This organization provides Medical, Dental, Vision, Short-term, Long-term and Accidental Insurance, as well as PTO and holiday packages.
