Sogeti USA is looking for a Augmented Reality/ Virtual Reality/ Mixed Media Reality Tester. This is a full-time onsite opportunity. No H1B Visa candidates as this is a immediate need and we wont have time to process H1bs.

Summary: We are looking for passionate members to join our team who possess advanced technical, organizational, and communication skills to work in complex projects. As a Tester on your projects, you will be expected to work directly with clients to gather requirements, and estimate effort required to deliver the solutions. Contribute across the entire development cycle (analysis, POC, design, implementation, testing, initial pilot/production launches, as well as production support). You will be responsible for managing and meeting project timelines and delivery, and to communicate project scope, resource or timeline changes to stakeholders in a timely manner. Your responsibilities include knowledge sharing with peers, mentoring junior team members and help drive improvements and efficiencies within the overall development organization.

Role and Responsibilities:

Proficient with executing manual Test Cases as a part of a Test Suite or Test Plan

2. Proficient with finding and documenting software bugs/defects in the system under test

3. Proficient with understanding bug regressions testing processes

4. Proficient with sending simple reports on daily testing results (Outlook, Excel)

5. Capable of learning/adapting to a proprietary bug tracking database

6. Working knowledge with adhoc and End-to-End testing scenarios

7. Good attention to detail

8. Strong written & verbal communication skills

9. Basic understanding of all Microsoft Office applications:

a. Emphasis on Outlook, Excel, and OneNote a plus

10. Ability to adhere to strict policy for program compliance

Nice-to-Have:

11. Proven ability to write well formatted bugs, reports, and emails

12. Working knowledge of hardware testing.

13. Working knowledge of AR/VR devices (testing or general knowledge)

14. Comfort with occasional outdoor testing scenarios

15. Strong desire to learn and grow

• Keeps abreast of evolving Software industry technologies and best practices.
• Essential Skills:
• B.S. or higher in Computer Science or related discipline and a minimum of 2 years of AR/VR/Mixed Media Testing experience required.
• Exposure to multiple software development methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills a must
