SimiGon is seeking a highly motivated Graphics Engine Developer to play a key role
and join our team focused on improving and enhancing our Graphics Engine for our
training solutions. The position is remote and reporting to our office in Orlando, Florida.
The qualified applicant must possess a strong background in gaming/simulation and
Graphics Engine development, including design, development, coding and unit testing
of software and hardware modules. Other areas may include support and maintenance
of an existing Graphics Engine, enhancing our agnostic XR support, development of
hardware interfaces, SDK and API and implementing new optimized features. Software
will be developed in C++ on Windows Platform and mainly DX. The applicant must have
management experience to lead a small team effort.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop and Maintain SIMbox Graphics Engine For A Wide Range Of Simulation
Content Types
∙ Support additional MR devices and frameworks
∙ Implement new features
∙ Optimization and tune-up
∙ Teach Others How To Use The SDK And API.
Minimum Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, applicants must minimally meet the knowledge, skills,
and abilities listed below:
∙ A Bachelor’s Degree Or Higher In Computer Science Or Related Technical
Field And Minimum Of 5 Years Of Related Professional Experience.
∙ A Minimum 5 Years Of Development Experience Within The Microsoft
Development Platform.
∙ Must Have Fluent C++ Development Skills And Experience
Developing/Coding In Windows Environment.
∙ Proven experience in Graphics Engine implementation, debugging and
optimization
∙ Proven experience in MR integration and optimization
∙ Proven experience with MR frameworks (e.g., SteamVR, OpenXR)
∙ Capable Of Managing Small Teams.
∙ Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Software Development Processes To
Include Object-Oriented Development.
∙ Experience With SCRUM or Kanban Methodology
∙ Proven Experience With Other Game Engines and its Internals - UE, Unity
∙ Travel Might Be Required.
