Overview/Purpose


Condé Nast Entertainment’s global digital video teams create premium video content showcasing Condé Nast’s iconic global brands. Delivering on average over 1 billion video views per month, the team currently produces 4,000+ digital videos per year in all genres including non-scripted, documentary, how-to, comedy, animation, scripted, branded, virtual reality and (live) event programming.



The Role

We are seeking an experienced Digital Producer to join our CNE Branded Entertainment team. You will be working closely with the Executive Creative Director of Special Projects & Innovation to develop and execute exciting projects for our brand partners, spanning AR/VR, Web3, and whatever else we dream up. The job has three primary functions: Pre-sale support, Post-sale execution, and thought-leadership. While advising on functionalities, feasibility, and production cost is a large part of the job, it is also an important thought-leadership role, helping enthusiastically guide our commercial teams and clients on the possibilities of the future. This 8 month role will be contracted via a third-party payroll provider and is not a staff position.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Report into the Executive Creative Director, Special Projects & Innovation, CNE Branded
  • Work alongside the CNE Branded Video organization comprised of a creative team, production team, and post production team
  • Interface and collaborate with external production vendors for bidding and execution
  • Collaborate with CN commercial sales and marketing teams on pre sale pitches and post production
  • This role is also client facing to an extent, often advising our brand partners on functionalities and possibilities


What will you be doing?

  • Work with the ECD to oversee pre and post sale projects for client partnerships across the Condé Nast portfolio
  • Manage pre-sale pitch production estimates and capabilities of new formats, getting bids from different external vendors
  • Assist with creative ideation pitches and creating presentation decks
  • Project manage post-sale projects with our external production partners
  • Manage relationships with external innovation vendors and their ever evolving capabilities
  • Create and manage a database of different formats and ballpark costs and timelines to help guide pitches
  • Develop a shortlist of preferred vendors that produce work up to the visual standards of Condé Nast brands
  • Produce quarterly competitive analysis of other publishers and advertising in the marketplace
  • Conduct quarterly presentations to CNE branded, Sales, and Marketing teams of current trends and capabilities
  • Contract hourly pay rate: $55-60/hr.



Ideal Candidate

  • 3-5 year Experience with project management and production of emerging (often digital-first) formats like AR, VR, AI, Web3, and other technologies
  • Active knowledge of the Web3 and technology space, particularly as it relates to publishing and advertising
  • Ability to think critically and strategically about client’s goals as it relates to expansion into emerging formats
  • Possess a limitless imagination and genuine enthusiasm for making impossible things possible. Nothing is too big, weird, or challenging.
  • Have a solution first mind-set to production problem solving. A simple “no, not possible” won’t do.
  • Confident in verbal and written communication and experience translating knowledge into client facing pitch decks
  • Ability to identify good taste from bad, and vocalize where necessary
  • Calm demeanor that can juggle multiple tasks at once with attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a high matrixed organization and variety of personalities





Where will you be?

We encourage hybrid working but when you are in the office, this role will be primarily based out of 1 World Trade Center.
