The Ecosystems Partner Specialist (Internal Development) is responsible for ensuring that third parties have the technical support, and additional resources they need to successfully develop and deploy solutions for internal use within their organization. Excellent communication skills and an understanding of software development processes and challenges is required. This role will act as an advocate for their stable of partners within Magic Leap. As the advocate the Partner Coordinator shall collect feedback and help to translate it into bug entries, feature requests, status reports, and other outputs as needed. The information collected by the Partner Coordinator plays a crucial role in crafting a fit-for-market product roadmap.
The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience in production support, customer support, or project management. Interactive real-time immersive (AR / VR / MR) development experience is a plus. Candidates must be driven to advocate for our partners, and have a passion for XR. An effective Ecosystem Partner Coordinator embodies a service mindset, and a drive to expand the enterprise AR market through the successful deployment of bespoke solutions.
Responsibilities - Facilitate Partner development processes:
- Collaborate with Partner engineers, and their other stakeholders to ensure a smooth, efficient, and effective development process
- Coordinate on-site development, deployment, and troubleshooting workshops to accelerate partner activities
- Deliver ad-hoc builds, and other resources to unblock or otherwise assist partner team
- Be the primary contact for platform information, logistics, and additional resources a partner may need
- Evaluate, and escalate partner requests, technical blockers, deployment, and commercial issue in as needed
- Advocate for partners who are building solutions for internal use by meeting with key leaders and contributors in the platform, commercial, and business development groups within Magic Leap
- Provide accurate reporting of Partner status across all stages of an engagement from initial onboarding through deployment
- Lead regular video calls with partners, and take detailed notes (AI note taking prohibited)
- Keep Salesforce entries current
- Collect and report voice of customer/partner feedback to inform the product roadmap
- Organize, and support on-site workshops to accelerate partner progress as needed
Qualifications
- Have 2+ equivalent years of experience as a production support, customer support, account management, and/or project management
- Can easily understand and communicate the intent of a partner and the solution they are trying to build
- Able to support the Ecosystem Support Engineers by entering bugs, following up on active issues, and assisting with research root causes of issues
- Can understand different industries, their processes, key KPIs, and how a ISV solution may service and support them
- Are capable of building and navigating long term relationships with executives and key stakeholders
- Are able to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative, and ambiguous environments with various stakeholders
- Are passionate about making Customers / Partners successful
- Are self-motivated, proactive team player with innovative ideas to inspire partner loyalty
- Experience build rapport with new partners
- Able to take detailed notes in real time (use of AI summary bots prohibited)
- Enjoys video calls
- Ability to travel up to 15%
Education
- Bachelor's degree is preferred or equivalent work-experience in related field (technology, interactive entertainment, VR/AR, enterprise application development)

US Base Salary Range
$32—$44 USD
