As the Ecosystem Services Agency Partnership Manager, you will drive and lead partnership efforts to support our growth strategy, efficiently managing a wide array of initiatives and build strong relationships with internal and external leaders.


The Magic Leap ecosystem consists of Independent Software Vendors (ISV) that develop end-user applications and solutions, middleware and tools, solution integrators (SI) and Agencies. This role will have a primary focus on Agency partners who provide services and custom development on Magic Leap 2 for end-customers.


You will identify and cultivate key Agency relationships to support custom development and also third-party enterprise solutions. This includes initial outreach, onboarding, and management of relationships with Agency partners. You must have a strong ability to recognize standout partners who possess the skill and fortitude for exemplary spatial computing solutions on Magic Leap.


The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in sales, business development or product marketing roles with direct experience in the professional services/Agency sector and in (AR / VR / MR). You must be driven to provide excellent customer service and have a passion for XR, evangelizing and comfortable demonstrating AR products. An effective Ecosystem Services Account Manager embodies a drive to provide the ecosystem partner with opportunities to mutually succeed along with the success of Magic Leap.


Responsibilities


  • Establish, cultivate, and manage long term, mutually beneficial partnerships with enterprise-focused agencies to enable commercial-grade solutions for Magic Leap’s customers.
  • Manage Agency partnership pipeline from initial outreach through development, go-to-market and co-selling activities, including structuring and negotiation of agreements.
  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts in technology and product teams to support partners’ development efforts.
  • Research and identify ecosystem development opportunities in target market segments
  • Demonstrate Magic Leap devices and ISV solutions to educate agency partners on market opportunities
  • Develop guides and collateral to accelerate and educate agency partner adoption and evangelism of Magic Leap 2
  • Meet with agency partners on a regular cadence in order to provide insights, guidance, training and education to their practice
  • Maintain meeting notes, and action items for record keeping and follow up.
  • Develop a strong knowledge and understanding of the competitive landscape and market trends
  • Flexibility to work outside your job scope, work as a team and support each other
  • The inclination to improve one’s skill set through training, personal development, and self-learning


Qualifications


  • Proven success in building programs, influencing a range of stakeholders and innovating with little guidance in enterprise organizations
  • 10+ years of experience in roles interfacing with Agencies and with customer facing interaction
  • An understanding or knowledge of key technical concepts unique to XR
  • Strong organization and project planning skills
  • Experienced leading team planning procedures and processes and reporting the results
  • Patient, with strong interpersonal skills working with a range of partners from CEO to engineer; the ability to develop strong rapport, and credibility both externally with developer partners and internally across the organization
  • Excellent proactive communication skills both written and verbal
  • Highly collaborative, open to coaching teammates and able to influence. Should embrace, and encourage collaborative style among team members. Will achieve results with and through others
  • Ability to travel up to 40%


Education


  • Bachelor's degree is preferred or equivalent work-experience in related field (technology, interactive entertainment, VR/AR, enterprise application development)
